Lebanon- The Road To the World Cup So Far!

Whilst some might believe it is only a football match, tonights round of World Cup Qualifiers see the hopes and dreams of many patriotic nationalists flash between their eyes. For 90 minutes it will be an edge of the seat affair , with one eye on the television screen and the other on the internet, scouring the websites for the scores around the world.

For Lebanon, it is that chance to dream. The opportunity to take a war torn nation into a realm unheard of. The small but historic Middle East Nation has never reached the final stage of qualification, and look set to do so barring a catastrophic disaster. The road so far has been treacherous, but Lebanon battled their demons, overturning disappointing early performances, currently holding onto second spot in their group consisting of Asian Powerhouses Korea Republic, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.

Steered by German Theo Booker, Lebanon have marvelled the crowds and are 90 minutes away from the final stage of World Cup Qualification. Sit back and enjoy this collection highlighting the journey so far....
